Notts County midfielder Oliver Norburn is to leave the club at the end of his contract next month. The 33-year-old, who signed a one-year deal after leaving Blackpool in June last year, made 40 appearances for Notts this season as they won promotion to League One with a 3-0 victory over Salford in the League Two play-off final. Fellow midfielder Keanan Bennetts, 27, is also leaving the Meadow Lane side. The club are in talks with captain Rod McDonald, 34, and fellow defender Lewis Macari, 24, about new deals. "Ollie intends to accept an offer from a club closer to his family home and he has our full blessing in doing so, along with our gratitude for his many quality performances," the club's directors said in a statement. "We have no doubt that his experience and character was key to our success in the play-offs and we're certain he'll be a huge asset to his new club."
